Rosewood and maple jewellery box

A hand crafted maple and rosewood jewellery box with removable tray.
The main box is made from maple, using traditional hand cut dovetails to join together. The lid is made from rosewood with a beautifully figured thuya burr as a centre panel, and hinged with brass pivot hinges.
Inside the box is a removable tray made from rosewood joined together with tiny hand cut dovetails. The tray divisions are made from maple, half lapped through one another and held in place with hand made maple through dowels.
The tray is lined with a lovely soft blue faux suede.
