The small purple heart jewellery box is all finished and shipped off to its new home, I didn't even get chance to list it on my online shop!
Its always nervy sending boxes out in the post (even though i make a custom plywood box for shipping), and posting so close to Christmas gives added stress, but it happily made it to its new home with time to spare before the big day!
The jewellery box was finished with 4 coats of Tru oil which gives a nice lustre and will protect the timber for years to come. Inside the box I used a purple woven fabric to compliment the veneer, and was a nice contrast to the internal maple.
